Whether anxiety is affecting your own life, or someone you care about is struggling, this guide is for you.
It has been written to be both informative and practical. You will find explanations of what anxiety is and how it works, overviews of different types of anxiety, and a range of evidence-based strategies and exercises to help manage it day to day. We have also included dedicated sections for those supporting a person with anxiety.
You do not need to read this guide from cover to cover. Feel free to dip into the sections most relevant to you. The exercises throughout are designed to be used as starting points — tools to try, reflect on, and adapt to your own life.
